Do you suffer from Rosacea?






Do you suffer from Rosacea? Signs of rosacea include: redness of the face, swollen skin, sensitive skin that may also sting and burn along with dry rough or scaly skin.  Even though experts are not sure what causes rosacea, it can be embarrassing and hard to maintain!
When researching what I could do about my rosacea I found a lot of women cover theirs with makeup. I am not a makeup gal, so I continued to research other skin care products.  I found Jordan Essentials and love that they are nontoxic, family company, that make their products right here in the USA.    

Here are 3 products that I find most beneficial to assist with my rosacea.

 Tea Tree Toner Mist – This spray is like a vitamin for your skin. Not only does it nourish and tone your skin but it also helps fight acne.  Acne often goes hand in hand with rosacea.  Every day after I shower, I spritz this to my face. (You can also apply with a cotton ball) I let it air dry before I move on to the next product. Looking at the picture below from left to right is me when I started using tea tree toner mist to less than three weeks later!



      Age Defying Serum – This product contains grape seed oil that aids in revitalizing and repairing skin. After the tea tree toner mist dries, I pump a small amount on my finger and apply the serum to my face. I start with my nose and move on to the other targeted areas. Because this serum also helps reduce wrinkles, I apply it to my entire face, completing my morning face routine.

          Skin Relief – This thick body lotion is enriched to soothe and care for even the driest skin. Super powered with Shea butter which is clinically proven to help skin and reduce inflammation. I use this lotion on my face 2 to 3 times a week at night, depending on how dry my skin is. After I wash my face, I apply a small amount to target areas and let air dry.

Skin Care Tips for Dry Skin

Dry skin occurs when skin doesn’t retain sufficient moisture, resulting in redness, cracking, flaking, or scaling.  Often, the outer layers of the skin (the epidermis) becomes more dry when the outside humidity levels are low, such as during dry and cold winter months.  When the air is dry, the epidermis must work harder to retain sufficient moisture in the skin to keep it soft and supple. Winter Emergency Kit

As we move from summer months into fall, we know that snow is just around the corner.   It is important to make sure we are winter ready for the cold and snow! Always watch the weather and be aware of conditions before travel.   If you must travel, make sure you have an emergency kit easily accessible in your vehicle.
